The mission of Comunity Bible Study (CBS) is:
To make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, in our communities through caring in-depth Bible study available to all.
As I have participated with men, women and children in CBS over the years I have witnessed lives be radically changed as individuals have changed from being merely acquaintances of Jesus to becoming His disciples.

The ESV Study Bible says about Genesis
The theme of Genesis is creation, sin, and re-creation. God made the world very good, but first cursed it and then destroyed it in the flood because of man’s disobedience. The new world after the flood was also spoiled by human sin (ch. 11). God chose Abraham for a special purpose. Through his family, all nations would be blessed (12:1–3). God’s purpose will eventually be fulfilled through Abraham’s descendants (ch. 49).
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Each week you will read Bible passages and answer questions in the study materials provided prior to attending the class. On Monday night you will meet in-person at the church or login to our online class meeting. You will meet in a small group, known as a Core Group, facilitated by a trained leader, to discuss the lesson. The class concludes with a live 20 minute teaching given by a trained Teaching Director. These teachings offer additional insights into the week’s passage and contain a challenge to personally apply the lesson to daily life.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, for all elementary school age children from 1st through 5th Grade. Our curriculum is aligned with the adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
